This is a great product. Based on research, it has all the bells and whistles and better materials then competitive products. If you go to the manufacturers web site, you can watch a video of the installation, use, and drainage of the product. Also, it has a well laid out FAQ section.

Awesome product, but how long does these things last?

I bought several Waterbob directly from the WaterBob website and gave them out to all of my family members which is a great tool for storing water in case of emergencies where tap water would be subject to contamination or lack of distribution due to no electricity (for water pumps). It’s clean and more convenient in a waterbob ‘bladder’ than the surface of a bathtub especially for drinking. Highly recommend it for any coastal areas subject to multiple of severe hurricane strikes… especially for island areas where evacuation to other states is not easily done with massive cost. It’s for one use only, so it’s best to fill it just before a strike occurs. The question I have is if an emergency doesn’t occur within 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 years, will the Waterbob hold up while being in storage? No way to test it each year like other items in the emergency kit. Other than that, it’s a great emergency tool.

This is not something you can fill up anytime you are concerned you might lose power/water, because once filled, there is no safe way to remove all the water so that bacteria, mold, etc do not build up inside the bladder.
